As school populations have grown in recent years, we’ve received an increasing number of requests from schools and colleges to convert their exisiting school sports halls and gym spaces into multi-use environments.
This involves the installation of large-scale audio visual solutions so that they can hold full school assemblies. They can also be used for school celebrations, proms and presentations, as well as external hire to third parties. Of course, hiring out the space for clubs and activities can be an attractive option for schools, as the revenue generated could ultimately pay for the cost of the equipment and installation of the solution.
New-build sports halls for schools and colleges often include large scale audio visual presentation solutions in the initial design process so that the space is already set up for multi-use.
Our school hall audio visual solutions range from 95 inch flat panels and video walls with suitable audio reinforcement to 8m retractable electric screens with suitable projection and audio solutions to suit the particular environment the screen is being installed into.
Additional extras can be installed such as an RF trigger to allow the screen to automatically drop when the projector is powered on. Wall-mounted remote volume/source control can also be installed to allow the user to control the audio solution without accessing the audio cabinet.
