Protech Solutions: Your Security Experts

CCTV or access control maintenance agreements are a smart and cost-effective way to prevent security failures before they occur. Instead of reacting to breakdowns, regular maintenance ensures all components function optimally, keeping your premises secure, compliant, and operating at peak performance.

  • Access software not working sufficiently

We provide tailored maintenance contracts, expertly handled by our security specialists, to help your organisation maintain the performance and longevity of your access control and CCTV systems.

How often do you check your equipment?

A recent inspection of a 5-year-old lead-acid battery for an access control unit revealed significant corrosion from an acid leak—a reminder of why routine maintenance is essential for safe and efficient operation.

Lead-acid batteries, like any critical power source, require consistent care. At Protech Solutions, we recommend:

  • Annual Checks: Perform inspections and take readings every year to catch potential issues like acid leaks, discharge or corrosion early.
  • Replacement Every 3 Years: Lead-acid batteries should ideally be replaced every 3 years to ensure optimal performance and prevent unexpected failures.

Regular maintenance not only extends the life of your equipment but also safeguards your workplace from hazards associated with battery corrosion and leakage.

Protect your site with a professional maintenance agreement and ensure your CCTV and access control equipment is as robust as it could be.
