This large-scale video conferencing & AV solution was a pleasure to install; not least for the fact that the venue is so spectacular. Set in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside, Missenden Abbey provides conference room facilities for meetings and training. With vaulted ceilings and dramatic landscape, this venue caters for large corporate events and weddings to intimate family gatherings.
We were asked to provide a new video conferencing & AV solution in two meeting rooms of this conferencing centre. The venue was originally a 12th Century monastry and now provides meeting room space and private dining facilities.
The Arrouisian Room required an updated video conferencing and AV solution, to replace the very old projector and screen solution, which was not providing the most optimal meeting room experience.
Owing to the large scale of the room, we replaced the projector and screen with three screens. This included a large, 86 inch Vestel interactive flat panel, positioned at the front of the room and two 55 inch Vestel non-touch screens, mounted to the sides of the room. This has allowed for full coverage of the room so that delegates at the back can also view the presentation from the smaller screens on either side of the room.
We always recommend a variety of equipment based on the requirements of the customer. On this occasion, the decision was made to go with Vestel screens based on the cost and also the functions, which complimented this video conferencing solution.
