St Joseph’s School required a complete upgrade of their hall’s audio-visual and stage lighting systems to create a flexible, user-friendly solution suitable for assemblies, performances, and school events.
To enhance stage performances and presentations, we designed and installed a Stage Lights Design tailored to the school’s hall.
The new system includes eight LED stage lights mounted across two new mini lighting bars, installed neatly on either side of the projector bulkhead.

Each lighting bar draws power from the projector supply, and a DMX connection was installed at the rear of the hall to feed both lighting bars.
This enables full data connectivity between the fixtures and the new Chauvet Obey 70 DMX controller/lighting desk, giving staff complete creative control over lighting effects during performances and events.
To modernise the hall’s AV setup, we installed a Cloud CX263 2 Zone Mixer, replacing the existing unit. This upgrade allows seamless control of multiple audio sources and volumes across different areas of the hall.
Two wall-mounted remote source/volume plates, a Bluetooth connectivity plate, and a stereo 3.5mm audio input plate were fitted near the HDMI presentation point. This gives users the ability to easily change input sources and adjust audio levels for each zone — all without needing to access the AV cabinet.
All new audio hardware was neatly housed within the existing AV cabinet in the storeroom, maintaining a clean, professional finish. The school’s existing amplifiers and loudspeakers were retained and integrated into the new system, offering an efficient and cost-effective solution.
To streamline operation, a trigger system was added to the projector, automatically lowering and raising the screen when the projector is powered on or off.
Additionally, we provided the option for two Sennheiser handheld wireless microphone systems to enhance flexibility for school events and performances.
The upgraded audio-visual and stage lighting systems at St Joseph’s School have transformed the hall into a versatile, easy-to-use performance space. The new stage lights design adds vibrancy and professionalism to every event, while the improved AV control ensures high-quality sound and seamless operation.
