Manor Lodge, an independent school committed to providing high-quality learning environments for its pupils, partnered with Protech Solutions to enhance both classroom technology and on-site communications. The project focused on delivering modern, easy-to-use BenQ interactive flat panel solutions that support engaging teaching, make better use of existing technology, and improve how information is shared across the school.
The school asked us to upgrade 13 classrooms with BenQ interactive flat panels. The project included the installation of four new wall-mounted BenQ 75” RE7504 screens, complete with new AV infrastructure, alongside the careful de-installation and reinstallation of nine existing BenQ displays that had originally been installed by Protech Solutions.
The project was designed to enhance teaching and included an option for a white board to be pulled over the screens to reduce overall screen-time for the children.
The Solution
Protech Solutions installed four BenQ RE7504 75” interactive flat panels, wall-mounted to provide a clean, modern finish in newly upgraded teaching spaces.
The BenQ RE7504 was selected for its EDLA (Enterprise Device Licensing Agreement) certification, making it ideally suited to education environments using Google Workspace for Education. EDLA provides full access to Google Mobile Services, allowing staff to securely log in and access Google Drive, Docs, Slides, Sheets, and Google Meet directly from the display. This creates a familiar teaching interface, supports interactive lesson delivery, and maintains strong data security through controlled sign-in and regular updates.
For IT teams, EDLA delivers long-term platform stability, consistent software updates, and simplified device management, helping to future-proof the investment.
The school also wanted to upgrade the digital signage solution within the main lobby of the building, providing a modern, reliable platform for student, staff, and visitor communications. The project focused on replacing an existing display with a professional-grade digital signage screen capable of delivering high-brightness visuals, accurate colour reproduction, and centralised cloud-based management.
The objective was to create a clear, engaging first impression when visitors and parents entered the school, displaying key messaging such as safeguarding information, announcements, wayfinding, and event promotion.

The Solution
Protech Solutions supplied and installed a wall-mounted BenQ SL6504 65” high brightness digital signage display, specifically designed for professional and education environments.
The SL6504 features a 500-nit, 99% sRGB panel, delivering crisp, balanced visuals that remain clearly visible in well-lit lobby spaces. Pantone® and SkinTone™ validation ensures accurate colour reproduction, allowing on-screen designs and branding to closely match real-world proofs—an important factor for institutional branding and visual consistency.
The school wanted us to relocate one of their existing interactive screens to the library, mounting it on a mobile trolley for flexibility. Thanks to the built-in X-Sign software, the screen isn’t just for lessons—it can double as digital signage when not in use as a teaching platform.
Now, the screen showcases the student librarians, shares library information, highlights the latest book recommendations, and much more, bringing the library to life for everyone who visits.
