Richard and Paul started Protech Solutions in June 2008. They both shared a vision of a customer-focused, personalised AV, cabling and IT installations company, which delivers on high quality as well as good value. Richard’s background in structured cabling and fibre optic installations spans over 20 years and he was also a Director of another IT company prior to launching Protech. Richard is a very hands-on Director, often carrying out the majority of the installations himself.
I am an engineer at heart and this is where my passion lies. I enjoy meeting customers and consulting with them face to face to help them with their solutions.
Suzanne has been part of the company since January 2009; during which time, she has played a vital role in the growth of the business. As well as marketing, PR and sales, Suzanne is also involved in strategizing for the future of the business and approaching new markets to help grow the company.
I am so passionate about Protech Solutions and it’s strong customer-service focused ethos. I love nothing more than seeing the solutions we have installed in place and the transformation they make to the facilities.
Alison has been with us since November 2015 and has been an integral part of the team. Her thorough approach to the organisation of the office has ensured the improvement of the company’s systems and procedures, providing vital support to the engineers and sales team.

Rob has been a part of Protech Solutions since the company started in 2008. He enjoys a challenge and each job certainly provides that. From installing a simple classroom solution, finding cable routes in old buildings to configuring complex AV solutions, Rob combines his experience and skills to ensure the job is finished to a high standard. He enjoys problem-solving and finding efficient and cost-effective solutions for customers.
Rhys has been with Protech Solutions since June 2022. Coming from a background in communications, he is delivering an excellent level of service to our customers as he completes installations with professionalism and to a very high standard.
It’s great to have him in the team and we look forward to seeing him develop his skills further.
Colette has been with Protech since December 2015 as a customer relationship manager and has played a crucial role in developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers. Colette says that she loves the challenge of helping schools and businesses to find just the right solutions to meet their requirements. Colette can often be found out and about, engaging with new customers in person and ensuring that they understand the services we provide.
James recently joined Protech Solutions at the beginning of 2024. Coming from a multi-skilled engineering background with advanced diplomas in integrated systems, he is excited and passionate about using his expertise to evolve the growing securities’ department of Protech Solutions. With an eye for detail and an innovative approach, he enjoys creating bespoke solutions for all security needs and situations for clients. James plans to develop Protech Solutions as an all-in-one “go to company” for all AV, network and security needs. He is looking forward to expanding Protech’s reputation as a trusted and recommended integrator of security systems.
