ColetteColette is the newest member of the Protech Team.

Colette’s background is in Account Management and Recruitment.

Colette says:

“Excellent customer service has always played a key part in my career; I love what I do and take great care in looking after my clients.

At home, I am a bit of a creative whirlwind – I love an arts and crafts box or getting out my paints, I’ll try and make anything and everything. Most recently fondant Dalmatians for my daughter’s birthday cake… I’m not sure they looked quite like Dalmatians though?

When my morning at work is done, I enjoy going home and spending the afternoon with my little girl. We’ll go to toddler groups, to the park to feed the ducks, or race the shopping trolley around the supermarket the wrong way – she thinks it’s really funny.

In the evenings I enjoy cooking dinner for the family, spending time with my partner and relaxing on the sofa before the madness begins again tomorrow.

We are really pleased to have Colette join our team and we look forward to exciting times ahead.

 

Alison is our newest member of the Protech Team.

She previously worked at CardifPinnacle for 15 years in various roles which covered customer service, administration, projects and team management.  She describes herself as an energetic, ambitious person who has developed a responsible approach to any task that she undertakes, or situation that she is presented with.

Alison says:

“I am a happily married mummy of a 3 year old son.

When I’m not busy with my little boy which is most of the time, I enjoy socialising and cooking for family and friends.

Past-times also include music, F1 and shopping or as my husband would say, spending money.

I’m very much looking forward to working within the team at Protech Solutions and bringing skills on board that I have previously gained.”

We are thrilled to have Alison on the team and she will be on hand to help all of our customer (old and new).

Richard started Protech Solutions with Paul Marshall, Managing Director in June 2008. He shared a vision with Paul of a customer-focused, personalised AV, cabling and IT installations company, which delivers on high quality as well as good value.

Richard’s background in cabling and Cat5 installations spans over 20 years and he was also a Director of another IT company prior to launching Protech.

Richard is a very hands-on Director, often carrying out the majority of the installations himself.

His role also involves carrying out site surveys and providing quotations based on the customer’s individual needs.

He enjoys his customer-facing role but can also be found in the office when needed.

He works closely with his business partner Paul to grow the business and is full of ideas to see the company grow.

One of the highlights for Richard of running Protech Solutions, has been exhibiting at The Bett Show at London’s Excel at the start of 2015.  He commented that to be in a position to have a stand at the exhibition was a true representation of how far the company has come through the tough times of the recession into more promising times.

He enjoys keeping abreast of the evolving technologies and being part of the advancement in technology.

In his own words;

“I am an engineer at heart and this is where my passion lies.  I enjoy meeting customers and consulting with them face to face to help them with their solutions.  

As a father of 5, I enjoy spending time with my children and when I get the chance, I like to travel”.

Richard is extremely proud of Protech Solutions and is excited about the future of the company and the opportunities it presents for new members of the installations team to complete an apprenticeship qualification with Protech.

 

SuzanneSuzanne has been part of the company since January 2009; during which time, she has played a vital role in the growth of the business.  Her background in recruitment and event sales has also helped with this.

Suzanne says;

“I am a very busy mum to my 2 beautiful daughters (ages 6 and 4 years old) and this is my first passion.  However, it is closely followed by my passion for the role I play in our business, Protech Solutions and watching it grow month by month.

I am enjoying the daily challenges of promoting the business.

Hopefully, I think I have an essential sense of humour to match which is always useful when working in the world of IT and AV technology.”

Suzanne is responsible for all elements of marketing and PR.

As well as marketing, PR and sales, Suzanne is also involved in managing the office on a day to day basis and making sure that all the admin is taken care of.

She is extremely excited about the future of Protech Solutions.  She is keen for the company to add to it’s great presence within the education and public sector as well as increase the number of businesses we carry out IT and AV installations for within the private sector.

AV solutions such as video conferencing and wireless for conference venues and hotels  is a particular expertise of ours and a way in which we can really help these businesses to improve their facilities and further benefit their customers.

Paul started Protech Solutions with his business partner, Richard back in 2008, following their vision to provide a personalised bespoke service delivering a top quality IT or AV installation service at every level.

He is pleased to say that this is what we have achieved.

In his own words, Paul says; “If I had to summarise myself, I would say that I’m a hardworking, dedicated husband and father of two beautiful daughters (Aimee and Holly).  I enjoy watching motor car racing, particularly Formula 1 and when I’m not working, I’m often found playing various board games with my little girls, trying hard to keep a hold on my competitive streak!  I am very proud of Protech Solutions and am passionate about going the extra mile to help and advise customers”.

Paul is responsible for all elements of running the business from carrying out site surveys and putting together quotations, to installing the AV equipment and IT and AV solutions.  He enjoys the consultancy side of his role the most and likes to get stuck into solving problems whenever they arise.  Quite often he has been called into complete jobs other IT installation companies have not been able to.  He is passionate about advising customers on the best solution for their individual IT installation and AV installation needs and always strives to do the best job he can for each individual customer.  He is a very hands-on Director and is not afraid of getting his hands dirty, even if that means crawling into a loft to run cables for the structured cabling side of the business.

An Engineer by profession, he tries to get out on site as much as possible to meet customers and to carry out the IT and AV installations himself as this is where his heart lies.
